Why join SPFSC?

Are you looking for a Home Club to help you achieve your figure skating goals? The St. Paul Figure Skating Club will welcome and support you on your journey. Whether you are new to the sport or a high-performance athlete, the St. Paul FSC can help you take your skating to the next level.

 

The St. Paul Figure Skating Club offers both Home Club and Associate Memberships as well as Coach Memberships. Applications for membership are accepted throughout the year for the current membership year.

Senior Club Member

  • Open to any skater who has passed their Pre-Preliminary moves test or an adult skater who has passed their Pre-Bronze moves test.

  • Includes U.S. Figure Skating Membership, a subscription to Skating Magazine, and testing and ice purchasing privileges on appropriate level sessions. Membership also grants you voting privileges at the St. Paul FSC Annual Meeting.

Junior Club Member 

  • Appropriate for skaters who have not yet passed their Pre-Preliminary moves test or adults who have not yet passed their Pre-Bronze moves test.

  • Includes U.S. Figure Skating Membership, a subscription to Skating Magazine, and testing and ice purchasing privileges on appropriate level sessions. Membership also grants you voting privileges at the St. Paul FSC Annual Meeting.

Collegiate Member

  • The skater must be actively enrolled in a secondary education program during a consecutive 4-year period. This membership is only available to a skater once per lifetime. The skater is exempt from standard annual volunteer requirements with hopes that, when available, they will volunteer or further their skating career by becoming a U.S. Figure Skating official or coach.

  • Includes U.S. Figure Skating Membership, a subscription to Skating Magazine, and testing and ice purchasing privileges on appropriate level sessions. Membership also grants you voting privileges at the St. Paul FSC Annual Meeting.

Introductory Membership

  • Skater must not have passed ANY U.S. Figure Skating tests when joining under this category.

  • This membership category is valid for one year only and not renewable. Once the skater has been introduced to the U.S. Figure Skating structure, a renewal would be recommended at or above the Junior Club Membership level. 

  • Includes U.S. Figure Skating Introductory Membership and testing and ice purchasing privileges on appropriate level sessions. Membership also grants you voting privileges at the St. Paul FSC Annual Meeting. 

Associate SPFSC Membership 

  • Appropriate for a skater with an active full membership with a U.S. Figure Skating club other than St. Paul FSC.

  • There are no multiple family member discounts for Associate Memberships. Each member will pay the full fee.

  • Includes testing and ice purchasing privileges on appropriate level sessions.

Learn to Skate Membership 

  • Necessary for any skater participating in a U.S. Figure Skating Learn to Skate program. This membership entitles the skater to participate in Learn to Skate classes and activities through the entire year.

  • Learn to Skate Members do not have voting privileges at the St. Paul FSC annual membership meeting.
