Ben is a former National, International, Grand Prix and World Junior Team competitor in singles figure skating. He was a three-time junior medalist at the US National Figure Skating Championships (2000-2002). At age seven, Benjamin began his competitive skating training under the direction of coaches Ann Eidson (1991 to 2004) and Ted Engelking (1990 to 2003) with the St. Paul FSC. Ben trained around the world with Alexei Mishin (1998 to 2004), a world and Olympic gold medal coach. In 2006 Ben moved to Michigan to train with coaches Igor Shpilband and Marina Zoueva in ice dance where he earned gold medals for all of the dances. Ben developed and leads a successful high-level group lesson format for competitive skaters in both singles and pairs disciplines. He runs off and on-ice group classes on a daily basis for all levels of skaters allowing for additional time spent on edge, jump and spin exercises in a fun and competitive environment. He is experienced in the use of the pole jump harness and the electronic spinner with harness.

Molly is a National, International and Senior Grand Prix Choreographer with a background of knowledge gained from studying under Olympic-level choreographers (David Wilson, Sebastien Britten, Sandra Bezick and Tom Dickson) and International-level coaches Ann Eidson and Zoe Hill. As a competitor, Molly was a 5-time US National Competitor and Team USA member. In partnership with her technically-focused teammates, Molly’s focus on building quality skating and performance skills cultivates well rounded skaters. She is passionate about inspiring a greater understanding of musicality and movement, while encouraging self-expression and confidence on and off the ice. Molly has worked in cooperation with staff teammates to coach 25 Minnesota State Champions and 12 singles Gold Test Medalists.

Karen Meck
Development Director
Karen has been coaching for over 25 years. She is a third-generation figure skater and a PSA Master rated coach. She enjoys working with skaters of all ages, focusing on setting goals and helping students to achieve them. Karen loves to take skaters from their very beginning stages all the way through to becoming Gold test medalists.

Madeline Moore
Madeline is a National Ice Dance Coach for Solo Dance and Partnered Dance and has instructed students through Gold and International tests. In addition to Ice Dance, she also specializes in coaching Moves in the Field, spins, and choreography. Madeline grew up training at St. Paul FSC under the coaching of Ted Engelking and Ann Eidson, and moved to Boston in 2003 to train with Ice Dance coaches Barrett Brown and Tom Lecinski. Madeline is a 2-time National Competitor in singles (figures National Champion) and Dance, with extensive off ice training in ballroom dance and ballet. Madeline performed with Disney on Ice in principal roles, which enhances her ability to help skaters work toward a diversity of skating goals. Madeline takes a Whole Person approach to her coaching and loves working with the full range of skill levels and ages. Due to her extensive personal experience in Singles, Dance, Figures, and off-ice dance, she is equipped to support a wide-range of skating goals.

Kimberly Cole Stahle
Kimberly (Kim) is PSA Master Rated Free Skate coach, teaching at the St. Paul Figure Skating Club for over 20 years. Kim is a USFS Quadruple Gold Test Medalist (Free skating, Moves, Dance, Figures). Her focus is the technical side of the sport with emphasis on creating Gold Test Medalists and competitors. Kim’s coaching background includes knowledge gained from training under National/International level coaches Ann Eidson, Ted Engelking, and Ari Lieb as well as Olympian Carol Fox in Colorado (2000-2001). As a competitor, Kim was a MN State Senior Ladies Champion (1998, 1996), the 1997 National Collegiate Champion, and 2001 US National competitor. Kim thrives on helping skaters attain their personal goals through hard work and the passion for the sport of figure skating. Kim shares her love for edges, spins, and jumps while encouraging skaters and building confidence!

Holly Anderson
Holly is the Academy and Adult Director at St. Paul FSC. She is a PSA Accredited coach, working with beginners to State and Regional competitors since 2011. She is a Moves in the Field Gold Test Medalist and is working towards passing her Gold Freeskate test. She started taking group classes at age 6, but started her competitive career at 17. Holly is a firm supporter in Adults Skate Too and an active participant in the US Figure Skating Adult community.

Rebecca Johnson
Rebecca has been involved in the figure skating community for more than 30 years. She enjoys coaching skaters of all ages and abilities. What she enjoys most is helping skaters to achieve their goals. Her time at the rink is split between coaching and her own training, being an active participant in the US Figure Skating Adult competitive community. This has given her the opportunity to train and compete all over the country - and even abroad. Outside of skating, Rebecca is an elementary school teacher. She loves to teach, whether in the classroom or at the ice rink.

Sarina David
Sarina grew up skating in Canada, where she achieved her Canadian Gold tests in Figures, Free Skate, Dance, and Skating Skills as well as Senior Competitive tests in Singles and Free Skate Pairs. She competed at the Canadian National Championships in Novice Pairs, Junior Pairs, and Senior Pairs, as well as Junior Ladies. She also competed at the Canada Winter Games in Novice Ladies and competed Internationally in Junior Pairs, Senior Pairs and Junior Ladies. Sarina loves working with skaters of all ages and levels, and hopes to teach them the love of skating. She wants to share her passion of skating with her skaters and help them achieve their own personal goals through hard work and dedication while making skating positive and fun!
